How much can a
20 yard dumpster hold?

A 20 yard dumpster can hold 20 cubic yards of material, or approximately 6 pickup truck loads. A 20 yard dumpster can typically hold 3-4 tons (6,000-8,000 pounds), though weight does vary based on the debris you’re removing.

How much can a
30 yard dumpster hold?

A 30 yard dumpster can 30 cubic yards, or approximately 9 pickup truck loads of debris. A 30 yard dumpster can typically hold 4-5 tons (8,000-10,000 pounds), though weight does vary based on the debris you’re removing.

How much can a
40 yard dumpster hold?

A 40 yard dumpster can hold 40 cubic yards of material, or approximately 12 pickup truck loads. A 40 yard dumpster can typically hold 5-6 tons (10,000-12,000 pounds), though weight does vary based on the debris you’re removing.

CONDITIONS & RESTRICTIONS

DUMPSTER SERVICE – Please make sure the dumpster is ready to go, and not blocked in on the service day. We start servicing at 7:00 am. If, when we arrive to service the dumpster, it is unavailable, or blocked in where it cannot be serviced, you will be charged the service fee. Another attempt will be made at the request of the customer. If service is delayed for an excessive period of time due to customer caused conditions, then an additional unserviceable fee may be charged.

DELIVERY – We will place the dumpster wherever you ask us to, as long as we deem it safe. You are responsible for all permit (if required) and any fine resulting from the lack of obtaining them.

OVERLOADED BINS – Dumpsters that are determined to be overload either by weight or with debris that is overflowing from the container, must be corrected by the customer. If the correction is not made in a timely manner, the dumpster will be considered unserviceable and a service charge will be billed and a another service date will be scheduled.

CONCRETE & BRICK When filling a dumpster with concrete or brick you may only use and fill a 20 yard dumpster or fill a 30 yard dumpster half full.

UNACCEPTABLE MATERIAL – Tires, aerosol cans, animals, asbestos, chemical products, contaminated soil (mixed with solvents, gasoline, lead paint chips, etc.) fluorescent tubes, herbicides & pesticides, industrial waste, lubricating/hydraulic oil, medical waste, motor oil, oil filters, other flammable liquids, solvents, transmission oil, etc.

We promise to treat your property the way we would want ours to be treated, and do our best not to damage any property. That said, bin trucks are heavy, bins are heavy and what you put in the bins will more than likely be heavy, so please understand that even though we take precautions not to damage property while delivering and picking up a dumpster, there is no way to guarantee that no damage will occur. Cain, Inc. assumes no liability for property damage.

You are also responsible for and damage done to the dumpster (besides normal wear). The following is not considered normal wear: burn marks, machinery or vehicle damage, paint/graffiti, holes, large dents, pealed decals, etc. Cain, Inc. assumes no liability for injuries sustained while in, on, around, or loading the dumpster.
